I’m back at it again with the Friday faves. Here are the things I’m loving this week. Enjoy!
Kendall Rae // I love true crime, missing person cases and conspiracy theories. This has been a fairly recent obsession and I love finding channels on YouTube that explore these topics. I recently found Kendall’s channel and she does a great job of going through the details. You just can’t help but get sucked into her videos. Not only that but she also brings awareness to some of these cases so that they’ll hopefully get solved.
Van’s Gluten Free Waffles // During the week I don’t have much time to eat breakfast and I’m usually not hungry. I usually just bring some fruit and a bag of rice chex to work or I make a smoothie and bring it with me. However, on the weekends I like having more of a treat breakfast like waffles or pancakes. I’ve been trying (and failing) to be gluten free so I wanted to find a quick, easy alternative to traditional frozen waffles. Van’s is a great alternative and they taste surprisingly good.
Love Galore by SZA and Travis Scott // THIS SONG. I’ve had it on repeat for the last week. I personally love Travis Scott and I’ve listened to SZA in the past. If you’re a fan of rap and R&B I would recommend listening. It’s the perfect summer song and something about it is just so catchy.
Giving // Over the past year I’ve been giving to St. Jude’s which is a children’s hospital that takes care of kids with cancer and their families. No family at St. Jude’s pays for anything. I did not grow up in a family with a lot of money but if there’s one thing I’ve learned as I’ve grown up, is that we all have something to give no matter how small it is. Even if it’s just your time, give something. I have an automatic donation each month that comes out of my bank account and goes straight to St. Jude’s. It’s a small donation but it adds up! I recommend finding a credible organization that you care about and start small. You never know who you’re helping or what impact you’ll make.
Murad // About 6 months ago my mom bought me a facial for my birthday. After the facial they recommended Murad products because that’s what they used on my face. I gave in and treated myself to the expensive Murad exfoliator they used and WOW was it worth it. It’s lasted a very long time because it only needs to be used twice a week and it improves the texture of my skin dramatically every time I use it. My sister has the clarifying cleanser which I sometimes steal and that also works great. It helped get rid of some blemishes I was struggling with and made my face feel so clean. Definitely expensive but worth the price if you’re feeling bougie.
As always I hope you have a lovely Friday and enjoyed this list.
